Dear Patients,
Your safety and that of my employees is of the highest concern to me. Therefore, I have implemented the following steps to protect all the people I care about from COVID 19.
We are now seeing patients via telemedicine and in office. We are also beginning to perform elective surgery.
Listed below are some of the changes we have implemented:
We are dramatically reducing the number of office visits going forward. This is the ultimate in "social distancing" and this will include all patients. Effective immediately, all new patients will be asked to have a virtual consult at home. Using our new HIPAA-compliant portal, you will be able to upload all paperwork and send us photos to enable a comprehensive consult. You will then have a live interactive consult with one of our aesthetic specialists.
Office and OR protection. Effective immediately, all patients, providers and vendors entering the building will be required to have their temperature taken and screening questions passed prior to proceeding.
Masks are required for all people in the building at all times. Clinical providers in close quarters will be wearing the Gold Standard N95 masks as well.
Additional "terminal cleaning" and frequent wiping down of surfaces has already been instituted.
In order to provide maximum social distance, no visitors are allowed in the building, with the exception of patients' postoperative ride personnel, who will be given surgical instructions in a separate location.
In conclusion, I would like to thank all employees and patients ahead of time for your cooperation and understanding. It is my belief that by instituting the above steps, we will greatly reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19, far below other business and healthcare facility.
